Summary and scope

An online meeting for prospective respondents will be held next Friday 22nd January 2021 at 2pm. This will consist of a presentation followed by a Q&A session.Due to current uncertainty around the future of Covid restrictions this will be purely an online meeting. No on-site presence will be allowed. The meeting will be held as a Microsoft Skype for Business meeting so you will need a client (web or desktop) to participate. One of the reasons that we prefer Fortinet products is that their Fortigate devices employ a Next Generation Firewall.These devices include such capabilities as; a. Intrusion Detection and Prevention b. Deep Packet inspection and blocking c. Application level inspection d. Malware blocking e. Anti-SPAM f. Content filtering f. Standard protections such as against DDOS,etc If a vendor choose not to propose a Fortinet solution, their design must include the above.
