Primary School Canteen Provider

Summary and scope

Casey Fields Primary School is a State Government School based in Cranbourne East Victoria. Casey Fields Primary School was established in January 2020, and has already grown to a student population of approximately 570 students. We are seeking expressions of interest including a sample menu and estimated price lists for our canteen. The costs involved in using the canteen space will be negotiated with the successful applicant. We are open to negotiate the days the canteen is open at the school, but are looking for a provider that will be able to run a canteen 5 days a week in the future as the school continues to grow. Our ideal provider will be able to open for both recess and lunch. Our recess is from 11:15 to 11:45 and our lunch break is from 1:30 to 2:10 with a 10 minute eating time at the start from 1:20. In regards to the menu it will need to be inline with DET healthy eating guidelines but will ideally offer a range of items from hot foods to cold options and various snacks. Some examples might be, sushi, wraps, sandwiches, toasties or jaffles, pies, fruit, frozen treats etc. Casey Fields PS has a very multicultural community. We would love to see that celebrated through the canteen menu. This might be achieved through regular menu items or through 'special food days". We also host professional development and training sessions at the school which require catering for staff and visitors. Ideally our canteen provider will be able to adapt their menu or provide a catering menu for such occasions.
