Bowen Rail Company is developing a tendering list for upcoming supply of traction sand and is seeking expressions of interest for the following scope. The scope of this specification applies to the supply of clean, dry sand, free from clay, loam, soluble salts, mica, organic matter and other foreign matter, for the use in locomotive sanding equipment. All sand products supplied for the use of rail traction in BRC locomotives shall meet the following pre-requisites: • Sample of product provided from the Supplier • Test Certificates to validate product adheres to the BRC Specification provided • Audit and /or Inspection of Supplier • Certified and Registered with Qld Government Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) • Supplier must be an approved Vendor with Bowen Rail Company
