Summary and scope
The City of Bunbury invites Tenders for the provision of a suitable technology solution that is able to: • Detect and notify individual parking bay occupancy in real-time (= 3 second) from detection to data event notification, across the three categories of parking bay • Allow integration through a secure API or microservice gateway to down-stream Apps such as PayStay or enforcement applications such as PinForce AND real-time replication into a City operated data lake • Able to be implemented in a scalable format across one or all categories of parking identified in appendix G at different points in time, if required. Additionally, it is expected that the tender response will include identification of any other innovative, value-add opportunities that will enable the City to better understand and monitor the utilisation of the parking within our CBD; and in keeping the costs associated with parking management down.
