Summary and scope
The Council is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) 2021-56 for the provision of Roadside Verge Mowing. There are two key elements - Rural and Urban The Council is seeking to appoint a single provider to deliver the services. The initial term of the new contract arrangement is for five (5) years. Council may at its discretion, extend the operation of the Contract beyond the Initial Contract Term for a minimum period of one (1) month and up to a maximum of two (2) years. The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed seven (7) years. It is intended that the new contract arrangement will commence on or around 1 September 2021. The contractor will be expected to start around the 15th of September and have the rural part of the shire completed by the 24th of December. The urban part of the contract will need to be delivered by the 31st of January in the same financial year.
