Summary and scope
Council is seeking Proposals to supply and maintain its adult fiction and adult and junior DVD collections in a way that is modern, popular, and responsive to library users’ needs. The majority of acquisitions required will be new to market, ordered pre-publication and supplied as soon as possible after publication. The Tender consists of two portions and offers may be made for one or both portions: A. Portion A covers supply of paperback and hardcover adult fiction (AF) books. B. Portion B covers supply of adult and children’s DVDs. Services to be quoted on in both portions include: • Full acquisition services for the contracted range of published formats including supplier selection services such as profiling and standing orders. • Full shelf ready services including importing and updating catalogue records in TRCL Library Management System (LMS), end processing and delivery of supplied items to TRCL’s Library Coordination Centre. • Performance Reporting.
