Denise Spencer Pool Management Agreement

Summary and scope

Maranoa Regional Council invites suitably skilled, qualified, and experienced businesses (or individuals) to submit supporting documentation and propose an annual management fee for the provision of management services for the Denise Spencer Swimming Pool at 142 McDowall Street, Roma QLD 4455 under a Management Agreement. The Agreement will commence at a date to be negotiated between Council and the successful party. It is envisaged that this date will be no later than 1 August 2021. The Contractor must ensure that in providing any of the Services requested by Council that all the requirements for those Services are addressed as described in this Specification and the Management Agreement. The Denise Spencer Swimming Pool consists of a 50-metre swimming pool and a water play park. The swimming pool is widely utilised by the local swimming club, schools, community groups, sporting clubs and local residents. Also located within the Denise Spencer Swimming Pool Complex is– • Main pool building with canteen/kiosk, change rooms, amenities, first aid room and storerooms; • Swimming Club room (any approvals to use these rooms must be negotiated with Roma Swimming Club); • Plant / filtration and chlorination treatment facility; • Chemical storage facility.
