Summary and scope

Local Buy is establishing a Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (RPQS) Arrangement to cater for a diverse range of Recruitment Services for Permanent Staff to assist Purchasers in managing their individual requirements. The intent of this new LGA Arrangement is to provide Purchasers in Queensland and the Northern Territory with continued easy access to these services by providing effective and streamlined procurement processes. Purchasers will have an optimal choice of service providers who have a strong regional presence, thereby promoting the development of competitive local business and industry, whilst providing commercially robust rates and terms and conditions of contract. The following five (5) main categories are included in this arrangement: Executive Management Professional Administration / Clerical Trades, Works & Labour Apprenticeships / Traineeships Under each of these categories will be indicative roles, which reflect those typically sought by Purchasers. This list is indicative of, but not limited to, those outlined below to allow Purchasers flexibility of engagement under the main categories.
