Summary and scope

The Isaac Regional Council was formed in March 2008 following the amalgamation of the former Shires of Belyando, Broadsound and Nebo. The Isaac Region local government area has a resident population of 20,940 (2018) with an additional 10,580 resource sector workers and covers an area of approximately 58,000 square kilometres. The Council’s vision is “To energise the world” through its mission “To feed, power and build communities”. The Council’s Values of: professionalism, continuous improvement, excellence, procedural consistency, customer focus, teamwork and coordination and safety and well-being are shared by our Employees and business partners. Isaac Regional Council currently leases out the management and operation of the Clermont, Middlemount, Dysart and Nebo Swimming Centres. The requirement seeks a superior operating model to manage and operate these Swimming Centres and facilities. Council’s key priorities include: cost effectiveness, sustainability, a strong customer focus, promotion of the sport of swimming, safety, compliance and the highest levels of infrastructure and amenity management. It is imperative that Proponent submissions are comprehensive and compliant. Within this Tender, the management and operation of the aquatic facilities at Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount and Nebo are offered as Separable Portions, to which Proponents may submit proposals for one or more or all of these sites. A separate Tender has been issued for the management and operation of the aquatic facilities at Moranbah.
