Summary and scope

Tenders are invited for the Hard & Green Waste Collection, Transport & Disposal Service. This tender is for the collection, transportation and disposal of Hard & (Bundled) Green Waste components of the Waste Collection Service for the City of Stonnington. Council intends to enter into a new contract for a “blanket” based service, whilst retaining an option to change to a booked “On-call” service should Council resolve to do so during the contract period. Council is proposing to: Enter into a new contract commencing in September 2021. The first collection under this contract will be a “blanket” based hard waste and bundled green waste collection in spring 2021. The contract will run for 3 years, with two further one-year options. Retain a contract option to change from a blanket service, to a booked service, should it resolve to do so during the contract period. NOTE: The online forum closes five business days prior to the abovementioned tender closing date. Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any Tender, or part thereof. Tenders received after the closing time will not be considered.
