Summary and scope

Somerset Regional Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the construction of a New Toogoolawah Swimming Pool – Splash Pad. Tenders need to include all works as specified and shown on drawings AQT – G/H/S - XXX. Contract documents for this project include: • RFT (this document) • AQT-G-000: AQT-H-000,001,010,020,100,101,200,201,202,300,400,450; AQT-S-001,100,101,300 Aquatic One tender issue 18/5/21 • Project Specification Water Treatment, Structures and Finishes for Splash Pad AQT-SP-001 RevA • Supporting Information (to be submitted with Tenders) Other documents that will form part of the Contract include the Contractor’s response to the RFT and any subsequent correspondence between the Contractor and the Somerset Regional Council (hereinafter referred to as ‘Council’). Additional terms, conditions and requirements for this project are also outlined in this document. TENDER BRIEFING/SITE INSPECTION 3.1 Attendance at this meeting to discuss the Request for Tender is mandatory. 3.2 Tenderers are required to attend a site inspection on Friday 2 July 2021 at 10am. 3.3 The location of the meeting is Factory Road, Toogoolawah Qld 4313. 3.4 The site inspection will provide Tenderers with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties with the Contact Person prior to the Closing Time. 3.5 Please confirm with the Contact Person by contacting Council on Ph 5424 4000 or email – mail@somerset.qld.gov.au your attendance at this meeting no later than Wednesday 30 June 2021. 3.6 Failure to attend this briefing/site inspection will render the Tenderer ineligible to Tender.
