Summary and scope
The current panel arrangement is due to expire and council are seeking expressions of interest to engage existing and new contractors onto an approved contractor list. This Panel Arrangement is to assist Council employees with obtaining quotes and engaging vendors for minor works, one-off or maintenance servicing but is not limited to these types of engagements. The system for obtaining quotes and engagement is: Council will issue a Request for Quote through VendorPanel (Council’s web-based platform), Council can also request quotes over the phone or through email systems. The issuing of a purchase order confirms Council’s acceptance and the commencement; or Council representative can make payment by Corporate Credit Card; or A Request for Tender is issued through VendorPanel for which a full submission and procurement process will be undertaken by Council. All tax invoicing or delivery dockets MUST be sent to the originating Council officer unless otherwise instructed.
