Summary and scope
Council is undertaking a face lift to the Swan Hill Aerodrome’s Terminal Building making it a more attractive and functional facility. Works are set out in this specification and include • Interior and exterior upgrades • Re-design of the kitchen and toilet areas keeping current infrastructure in mind Council anticipate that some walls may need to be relocated in this re- design • Inclusion of a shower into both the male and female toilets • Replace current lighting with like for like LED lights • Rendering or approved alternate cladding of the northern and western external walls • Cladding and painting of the western gable ends • Removal of existing floor coverings and replace with new floor coverings • Window tinting • Create Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant access to the Terminal Building from adjacent carparks and tarmac as per Australian Standards 1428.1 - 2009 • All carpentry, plastering, plumbing, electrical and painting works as set out in the trade and works specification
