2021-097 Annual Supply and Delivery of Mulch, Sand and Soil

Summary and scope

The Council is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) 2021-97 for the provision of Annual Supply and Delivery of Mulch, Sand and Soil products. The Council is seeking to appoint a panel of providers to deliver the Goods. The maximum number of providers that may be appointed to the contract is a maximum of three for each category. There are five key categories. Tenderers can tender for all or just individual categories. The categories are; • Playground (Softfall) Mulch • Bush Mulch • Recycled Timber Mulch (12mm & 20mm) • Native Timber Mulch (15mm) • Sand • Top Soil The initial term of the new contract arrangement is for three years. There are two (2) by one (1) year contract extension options available at the discretion of the Council. The term of the Contract will not exceed five (5) years. All of the Goods shall be supplied and delivered in accordance with: this Request for Tender (Part A), the Specification (Part B), the attached Terms and Conditions (Part C), the Letter of Acceptance and the accepted Tender Submission (“the Contract Documents”). Tenderers are required to provide a schedule of rates for Year 1 of the contract only. The following CPI will be applied to tendered and accepted rates for Years 2 & 3 of the contract and any exercised contract extension options. CPI – All Groups Melbourne – Quarter results for the period immediately preceding the contract anniversary date. It is intended that the new contract arrangement will commence on or around 1 March 2022.
