Aurukun Shire Council invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to tender for the PAPI lighting design and Construction Project. The scope includes the design, supply, installation and certification/testing of Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPI) system for the Aurukun Aerodrome to improve approach and landing functionality particularly in poor weather when the runway is most heavily relied upon. The project delivery for the Design and Construct Project will need to meet all Australian & International Standards, CASA requirements including MOS 139 regulations and Industry best Practice.
