Tender 1237 - Construction of the Sandy Creek Fire Break Trail

Summary and scope

Somerset Regional Council is seeking tenders for the construction of the Sandy Creek Fire Break Trail at ‘Mount Glen Rock’, located on Lot 2 on RP156580 East Street, Esk. Tenders must include all works as specified and shown on the attached drawings. Contract documents include: • RFT (this document) • Appendices • Drawings (see Scope of the Work) • Construction Specification • Supporting Information (to be submitted with tender response) Other documents that will form part of the Contract include the Contractor’s response to the RFT and any subsequent correspondence between the Contractor and the Somerset Regional Council (hereinafter referred to as ‘Council’). Additional terms, conditions and requirements for this project are also outlined in this document. TENDER BRIEFING/SITE INSPECTION 3.1 Attendance for site inspection to discuss the Request for Tender is optional. 3.2 Tenderers can attend site inspection on Thursday 16 September between 12.00pm -2.00pm.
