Summary and scope

Background Douglas Shire Council has been successful in obtaining TMR Principal Cycle network funding for the construction of the Cycle Network between Mossman and Cooya Beach. Council are seeking professional construction services to undertake construction of a section of the Principal Cycle Network between Mossman and Cooya Beach. Project Scope The proposed scope of services depicted below is applicable: • Submission of management plans and other necessary documentation to obtain possession of site. • Finalise documentation on receipt of Council review • Site establishment. • Obtain DBYD services locations and Council as-constructed services as relevant; • Undertake Earthworks as the described in chainages, as stated on Civil drawings and project schedule. • Undertake Retaining wall constructions as stated on Civil drawings and project schedule. • Undertake Stormwater Drainage as the described in chainages, as stated on Civil drawings and project schedule. • Undertake Concrete Path construction and fencing installation as the described in chainages, as stated on Civil drawings and project schedule. • Provide necessary documentation, such as quality assurance throughout the delivery of works. • Provide the detailed documentation including, but not limited to the following: o Schedule of Rate for variation schedules. • Provide statutory certification documentation, RPEQ signoff.
