Summary and scope
The vision provided by the community for the Southern Show Pavilion is to create a suitably designed entertainment and function facility by renovating the existing pavilion into a Country inspired function centre incorporating indoor outdoor flow and a technology upgrade, allowing cross functionality across the facility. The key components of this project will be to: • Transform the current facility from a tin shed to a Country inspired function centre; • Facility to be fully airconditioned, lined and allow flow between the undercover area and the two pavilions; • The undercover area would be fully screened, creating an inviting alfresco dining and entertainment area; • Fire systems upgrades • Main and sub board switch board upgrades; • External Treatment of all 3 buildings; • Replacement of external guttering and relocation of downpipes to re-direct storm water into bubbler pits in the vicinity of the table drain on southern side of the pavilions.
