Summary and scope
Tenders are invited for the overall program management of the Chapel Street Transformation Program. The City of Stonnington is embarking on a once in a generation project to transform Chapel Street into one of the great streets of the world. Chapel Street is an iconic Melbourne destination offering a diverse and vibrant range of specialist retail, hospitality, entertainment and residential living. It is one of the City’s greatest assets, but the vibrancy of past decades has diminished and now is the time to reimagine what Chapel Street could be, with a new place-based approach. The vision for this broader area seeks to create a thriving, creative and unique cultural destination that fosters a strong sense of community pride and belonging. The City of Stonnington is seeking a Lead Design Consultant / Program Manager who will work collaboratively across all Council departments to manage and lead the administration of the transformation process. The Lead Design Consultant / Program Manager will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and masterplan development, as well as detailed design for the priority initiatives, and will be involved in the planning and management of all transformation initiatives including short, medium and long term proposals identified during the initial stage of the project. NOTE: The VendorPanel online forum closes five business days prior to the abovementioned tender closing date. Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any Tender, or part thereof. Tenders received after the closing time will not be considered.
