Summary and scope

The objective of this project is to construct a new Gym room, abutting the north east end of the existing Swan Hill Leisure Centre. The construction has been designed with future development in mind and this project underpins the initial stages of the next phase of expansion at the Swan Hill Show Grounds. Responses will be evaluated using the following criteria: Price The Tender will be evaluated based on best value. Best value is determined by the overall score received from the evaluation criteria below in comparison to the price. Compliance with Specifications (30%) The Tenderer needs to respond and address all, part or some of the requirements outlined in the specification document. Track Record (25%) The Tenderer needs to demonstrate if they have completed work for Council before. The Tenderer needs to advise the number of the same or similar projects they have completed previously. The Tenderer needs to provide the details of the references from the previous projects. Availability of Skills/Resources (25%) The Tenderer needs to provide satisfactory evidences to prove they have appropriate skills and resources to accomplish the project satisfactorily. Social Economic Benefit (5%) Demonstrate the social and economic benefit to Swan Hill Municipality provide supporting documentation of contributions made to the community in the form of donation or free services etc. Environmental Benefit (5%) Demonstrate commitment to environmental sustainability Provision of detailed construction schedule, community engagement & awareness plan (10%) The Tenderer needs to provide a detailed construction schedule including milestones/major activities and a community engagement and awareness plan. The Tenderer needs to demonstrate innovative cost efficiencies associated with the design without compromising time or quality of the project.
