Summary and scope

Maranoa Regional Council is wanting to erect a Memorial Wall at the Roma Saleyards Complex. The purpose of the wall is to attach and display memorial plaques and story boards in regard to the history and peoples of Maranoa. The display wall will need to be attached to an existing wall. The wall is under cover and has structural supports that can take a considerable weight. Council would like the construction to be made of local timber, but are also open to other ideas. Council requires two quotes for the Memorial Wall. One wall can be for the full length of the existing wall or two walls with a space between them. The wall is approximately eleven (11) metres long and it is expected that the wall/s will be between 1200mm - 1500mm wide, however Council is open to various sizes, designs and concepts. A photo of the wall is included. Suppliers can contact the Paul Klar (Saleyards Manager) for an onsite inspection and to discuss this RFQ further.
