Summary and scope
The facility is currently temperature controlled by HVAC system with fan coil units, chilled water compressor (located in the plantroom) and air-cooled condensers (located outside the centre). The system has been well maintained over the years and is in reasonable operating condition for its age, however ongoing maintenance to preserve it is not economically sustainable. As the system has exceeded its useful life, Council invites proposals from suitably qualified companies to provide a quotation to design, supply and install a replacement air-conditioning system at the Dysart Civic Centre that is fit for purpose. The key components of this project will be to: • Provide a fit for purpose sustainable air-conditioning solution; by utilising existing infrastructure (as far as possible) that is energy efficient and comparable in nature. • Supply and install an air-conditioning system per the specification supplied.
