Summary and scope

The Council is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) 2021-058 for the provision of Facilities Maintenance Services Panel. The Council is seeking to appoint a panel of providers to deliver the services and works as detailed in this RFT. For the avoidance of doubt, Council is not seeking to enter into a Managed Facilities arrangement. Council is seeking to enter into contract with individual and independent contractors. Each service is to be provided by experienced, appropriately qualified, and licensed or registered contractors. Prospective suppliers should be able to demonstrate the capacity to provide the full range of services without the requirement to engage sub-contractors. The categories of services Council require are shown below and Council will appoint a maximum number of suppliers to each of the categories. Trade Service Category & Max Number of Suppliers to be appointed Air Conditioning Maintenance Services 3 Electrical Services 3 General Facilities Maintenance Services- (Multi Skilled Handy Person) 3 Glazing Services 2 Gutter Cleaning Services 2 Registered Builders 4 Painting Services 3 Plumbing Services 3 Plumbing-Irrigation (Maintenance and Repair) 3 Test and Tag Compliance Services 2 The initial term of the new contract arrangement is for five (5) years. There are two (2) x one (1) year extension options available at the discretion of the Council. The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed seven (7) years. It is intended that the new contract will commence on or around Friday 1 July 2022.
