Summary and scope
It is proposed to engage one or more Artwork Providers to undertake the Delivery Phase to complete public artwork elements for the project. The general scope of this engagement is to provide an all-inclusive service for the Delivery Phase to manage, coordinate, commission, design, fabricate and/or build, and install pre-selected public artwork/s for the Russell St Streetscape Refresh project. To do this, Council is looking to engage Art Provider/s (i.e. art project manager, Artist or fabricator who engages others under sub-agreements) to complete the pre-selected artwork/s as part of the streetscape project. This will include coordination and/or engagement of the applicable pre-selected Artist/s as subcontractors to complete and deliver the pre-selected works as applicable. Key deliverables will include, but are not limited to: • Detailed design documentation and any required approvals as applicable • Technical Specification Reports and maintenance manuals as applicable • Completed and installed artwork/s with as-constructed information • Handover of appropriate licences, rights and manuals to Council Council reserves the right to award any engagement that is deemed to be advantageous to Council, including awarding all artwork to a single offeror, or various artworks to separate offerors, and/or to non-conforming offers. It is noted that each Artist may also be considered for engagement as an Art Provider if they submit an Offer through this tender process. The evaluation will consider appointment of one or more Art Provider/s to deliver artworks in one or more packages, to provide the best artwork outcomes and value for money for Council. Council also reserves the right to not award any engagements from this process. Download the tender documents for further information or contact Gavan Scheiwe on 131872 if required.
