Summary and scope
Douglas Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified respondent to supply and coat a pit, trafficable drain and truck chemical unloading area with the following specifications: • UV stabilised. This is an external area subject to all weather conditions • Slip resistant. Personnel walk over this area including when it is raining • Impervious to the following chemicals: • Sodium hypochlorite, 10% • Caustic soda, 33% concentration • Trafficable area is ~8m x 3.5m • Trafficable drain is ~26.5m x 300mm300mm • Pit is ~8m x 2m wide x 0.5m deep. Pit will require cleaning/blasting sealing cracks prior to application of coating. Also, Council requests supply only quote including delivery for internal (no requirement for uv stabilisation) chemical storage bund floor as follows: • Sodium hypochlorite bund area - ~3m x 5m x .5 deep • Caustic soda bund area - ~3m x 5m x .1 deep • Miscellaneous chemical area - ~2m x 2m x .1 deep • Non-slip • Must be able to be applied by Council personnel. Refer to attached scope document for images and layouts.
