Summary and scope
The Norfolk Island Regional Council (NIRC) is seeking the supply and installation of rainwater tanks adjacent to existing buildings across the island for their Water Security Project - Stage 1. Rainwater collected from the tanks will augment the current water supply for the island, making council self-sufficient in meeting its water needs and providing emergency water supply to the community, including local businesses and residents during extended periods of no rainfall. This project is seeking to engage with a tank supplier to review, design and supply the Stage 1 project with rainwater tanks that have adequate capacity for both council operations and community needs during drought. The infrastructure is to be installed across four (4) separate locations on the island, specifically locations adjacent to existing council buildings. The work sought includes the supply appropriately sized tanks to store the appropriate quantity of water and installation of tank connections, bypass, valves, and distribution outlets. This Invitation to Tender is being managed by Ranbury and Peak Services on behalf of Norfolk Island Regional Council
