Summary and scope
Mount Barker District Council is seeking tenders for works described as Nairn Main Street Upgrade Stage 2.4A. This project includes new kerbing, paved footpaths and lower level landscaping from Farquharson Street to the eastern side of Junction Street. The work includes the realignment of existing kerbing to narrow the road width on the two northern and south eastern corners of the Junction Street/Leith Street intersection including pedestrian crossing points. The work also include the construction of 4 900 parking spaces on the eastern side of Junction Street, adjacent the Princes Highway intersection. It is proposed that the work is to be largely completed by June 30 2022. The full specification and drawings may be found attached with this invitation.
