Barcaldine Regional Council (BRC) is issuing this Request to Tender (RFT) for a software and infrastructure upgrade/replacement to its existing SCADA Platform, Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and Telemetry Technology (including switchboards) in the immediate future. BRC own, operate and maintain an extensive network of water and sewage assets in Barcaldine and the outlying towns of Jericho, Alpha, Aramac and Muttaburra. The assessment of the existing SCADA and Telemetry installation confirmed that urgent repairs and updates are required to several installations managed by the Council. The existing installation at the towns are mostly of different origin, age, and physical condition. Only Barcaldine, Jericho and Alpha are making use of the telemetry and SCADA system. BRC also needs to add the towns of Aramac and Muttaburra to the SCADA and Telemetry installation.
