Summary and scope

Douglas Shire Council has committed to providing a recreational water facility within Port Douglas, Far North Queensland. Funding has been secured for a bespoke splash park and Council requires consultants to engage with the community to co-design & document a suitable splash park. Importantly a IAP2 accredited consultant will be necessary to assist in this process. Depending on the communities desire for a pool, further consultant input MAY be required to design and document this portion of the facility to a shovel ready status, such that Council can seek funding.
