Summary and scope

BRC Water Services is seeking professional services in Water and Wastewater engineering to provide strategic guidance, technical input, process support, etc. along with further developing the professional capability of the Water Services team. Council is seeking submissions from suitably experienced and qualified consultants to form a register of prequalified suppliers pursuant to section 232 of the Local Government Regulation 2012. These services are being used to supplement Council’s personnel to plan and deliver projects within Water Services. These services and projects vary in type, from a transactional model (work defined and delivered for specific tasks of work) to a more collaborative approach, whereby the focus is on upskilling BRC staff and ensuring knowledge transfer. The indicative scope of work includes Water and Wastewater planning, preliminary design, detailed design, asset management planning and maintenance planning, process optimisation, process investigations, incident investigations, SCADA, telemetry and network technical support, cost estimation, project management, superintendent services, condition assessments, etc. Suppliers may also be engaged to provide general, expert advice, co-ordinate and/or negotiate with other external consultants, contractors, the general public, government agencies, service authorities and other stakeholders on Council’s behalf. Full Details are provided in the downloadable Tender Documents.
