Supply and Installation of Hydrants and Valves

Summary and scope

The Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC) are seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to deliver, supply and installation of Spring Hydrants and anticlockwise closing Resilient Seated Sluice Valves as part of Council’s Capital Works Renewal Program to improve water quality, reduce the likelihood of operational and maintenance challenges such as mains break, leaks, and isolation issues. The hydrants and valves in this scope of works are located at various locations throughout the region, these are detailed in Annexure Part K Other Documents. The works involves, but is not limited to the following: supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new hydrants and valves in accordance with relevant specifications, drawings, and standards to provide water infrastructure with a longer lifespan free of defects.
