Installation of Screen at HH STP inlet channel

Summary and scope

• Detailed design of new inlet screen and options for screenings washing and dewatering system to suit the existing concrete inlet channel including: Hoppers, chutes, conveyors etc to remove screenings Screenings washing and dewatering equipment Platforms and stairs necessary for operation and maintenance access to the equipment Water supply to all spray bars Electrical works and PLC programming • Facilitate and document a HAZOP study • Manufacture and delivery of all equipment, access platforms, stairs, hoppers, chutes, conveyors etc • Installation of new screens including access, hoppers, chutes, electrical, controls, connection to power and connection to water supply • Testing, pre commissioning and commissioning • Training of Burdekin Shire Council Staff • Compliance inspection and testing • Handover documentation, including completed inspection and test plans, results of all test undertaken, preparation and provision of as-constructed drawing, Operations & Maintenance manuals and functional specifications The maximum instantaneous flow rate to the inlet channel is 45 l/s from Home Hill SPS01 The upstream & downstream depth of the channel is 900 mm Please refer to the attachments for Total flows and width of the inlet channel. Please be noted that at least one site visit is mandatory.
