Summary and scope
The Gympie Region experienced intense rainfall events in January, February and May 2022 which led to extensive flooding resulting in damage to essential public assets. In response to this damage to essential public assets, Council has successfully sought activation under Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA). In order to supplement the internal delivery of works funded under DRFA, Council is conducting a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to seek proposals from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to be shortlisted to participate in future closed quotation processes.
