C2023.14 Public Place and Reserve Litter Bin Collection

Summary and scope

The service includes the clearance of Council owned bins within parks, reserves, streets and gardens of the Shire. It also includes refilling of the dog waste bags dispensers installed at various locations within the shire with the compostable bags supplied by Council. The service also includes the 4 bin service provided to sporting clubs and the deployment, emptying & collection of special events bins within the Shire. The objectives of the Contract are to achieve Litter Bin Cleaning and Clearance Service which: • is comprehensive, professional, reliable and customer-focused; • utilizes available technical, managerial, and customer innovations, and methodologies; • is considered best practice within the industry; • maximizes the benefits for all stakeholders including the community, the Council, and the Contractor; • Provides a high standard of customer service and interaction coupled with a high standard of service delivery to ensure the public place amenities associated with this Contract are serviced and maintained to an aesthetically pleasing and acceptable standard. • Includes servicing all parks, reserves and streetscapes, public & community events, and sporting club facilities.
