Cloncurry Airport - Options Analysis & Masterplan

Summary and scope

Cloncurry Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified consultancy or consultancies (operating under a Principal Consultant) to assist in developing an Options Analysis and Masterplan for the Airport Facility and Precinct project as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope. The main objective of this project is to best position the Principal to scope, prioritise and invest in a way that ensures the continued sustainability and growth of operations at the Cloncurry Airport. The expected outcome of this phase of the project are as follows: • Provide a better understanding of the current operating context and regulatory compliance of the Airport precinct, including: Contextualising current operations in relation to regulatory requirements and trends. Benchmarking current operations against similar Airports. Completing detailed stakeholder engagement. • Shaping an investment strategy in infrastructure and services that will assist to maintain and/or increase the services available and passenger throughput.
