Summary and scope

The Town of Port Hedland is seeking a qualified and experienced Contractor to design, refurbish, and replace aging playground equipment and infrastructure in line with the Town’s Public Open Space Strategy (2019). It is the intention of the Principal to package a schedule of playground improvement projects into a single tender to attract efficiencies of scale, seek improved value for money to the Town, and attract submissions of the highest quality. Works will be split into four (4) Parts, of which may be awarded to one (1) or multiple Tenderers at the complete discretion of the Principal. Tenderers may only provide a response to at least one Part, to be considered a conforming Tender. In addition, Tenderers have the option to offer a saving if awarded two (2) or more parts of the works (to reflect potential savings on mobilisation, project management, and efficiencies of scale).
