Summary and scope
This Contract is for the provision of Golf Course Pro-Shop Management Services to the Freeway Golf Course due to re-open 1st March 2023, for a possible maximum contract term of 10 years. The Golf Course is an 18-hole course covering over 34 hectares of land. The golf course has undergone significant modifications in 2021-22 due to the impacts of partial land acquisition from the state government North East Link Project (NELP). This includes infrastructure upgrades with 11 of the 18 green surfaces rebuilt, 12 tee complexes re-constructed, a significant pathway system installed, drainage improvements, environmental plan partially delivered, and all of the golf bunkers reconstructed. Council is seeking for an experienced and professional organisation to operate and manage the Golf Course Pro-Shop as per the details outlined in the tender Specification.
