Summary and scope

We are seeking tenders for the replacement of the G1 Sewer Pump Station The existing G1 sewer pump station is one of four main pump stations that report to the Gympie Sewer Treatment Plant. Gympie Regional Council (GRC) is in the process of replacing these older pump stations with modern designs that comply with the latest environmental and health and safety requirements. The scope of works includes the construction of a new concrete pump station, command manhole, flow meter pit and overflow storage as per the design drawings and specification included within this tender document. The works will also include the mechanical connections to the existing sewer infrastructure and decommissioning the existing sewer pump station. The electrical installation involves the construction of a new switchboard and will be separate to this mechanical and civil Contract. The electrical scope of works will be carried out by others but is to be coordinated within the Principal Contractor works.
