71-23 A05 Rising Main Replacement and Pavement Renewal, Toolooa Street, Gladstone

Summary and scope

GRC requires a Contractor to replace the existing A05 DN250 AC Rising Main in vicinity of Toolooa Street by constructing a new DN280 HDPE PE100 SDR9 pipe on a new alignment in Toolooa Street. A primary goal of GRC is to bring the new rising main into service in a manner that minimises impacts to residents and businesses. Noting the existence of a separate (but co-located) project relating to pavement reconstruction, GRC has opted to supplement the rising main project with this additional pavement construction work forecast in Toolooa Street (between Agnes and Derby Street), which has been partially completed by GRC during calendar year 2022. This larger, combined project is titled the Toolooa Street Civil Infrastructure Works project and represents the Works Under Contract described in this Scope of Work. This project will interact with other works in Toolooa Street which are referred to throughout this document as Works By Others.
