Summary and scope

The Opportunity Bounded by the Great Barrier Reef to the east and sandstone wilderness in the west, Livingstone Shire is located within the Fitzroy Region of Central Queensland and covers 11,800 square kilometres on the Capricorn Coast. The major urban townships of Yeppoon and Emu Park are where the majority of the population reside, our beautiful rural areas include Byfield, Cawarral, The Caves, Stanage, Marlborough, Glenlee and Glendale. Council services a population of 36,000. Our major industries include retail, tourism, education and training, health care and social assistance, construction and agriculture. Livingstone Shire Council is seeking to source a suitably qualified consultant for its Yeppoon Landfill Expansion Design Contract requirements. Objective Livingstone Shire Council is seeking responses to this Invitation to Tender for Yeppoon Landfill Expansion Design Tender No. 2022.031 as per specification. The work shall include two separable portions: • Separable Portion 1: Stage 3A and 3B new cells; and • Separable Portion 2: Stage 2A/B capping system construction. The purpose of this ITT process is to assess the ability of Tenderers to complete the Services, including in accordance with all relevant Australian Standards. Council’s requirements in relation to the Services are set out in Section 2 of this Invitation (Specification).
