Summary and scope
Council has allocated funds to complete the Flinders River (Station Creek section) riverbank stabilisation and revegetation works to the nominated areas (as shown in the attached) following erosion from the 2019 severe flooding and subsequent events. The selected sections experience severe damage during every reasonable rain event. Council aims to protect the asset, minimise the erosion issues, and minimise the impact on the river and the adjacent properties following rain events. We are looking for suitable contractors to undertake the following works. Option 1 is design and supply only, whereas Option 2 includes installation. Option 1: RPEQ certified detailed design and supply suitable product/material that will help stabilise the riverbank. This option excludes the installation of the product/material but to include onsite training to Council staff/contractors to complete the installation/construction works using the recommended product to the manufacture’s specifications. Option 2: In addition to Option 1, this option includes supply and installation/construction of suitable product/material that will help stabilise the riverbank.
