Summary and scope

Isaac Regional Council (Council) is seeking reputable contractors for the maintenance services for a total of fifteen (15) roadside rest areas within the Isaac Region. The works are to be carried out for assets owned (3) by Council with the remaining (12) facilities assets owned by Department of Transport & Main Roads (DTMR) and managed by Council through its Road Maintenance and Performance Contract (RMPC) within the region. Tenderers are advised that the Request for Tender (RFT) provides an opportunity to secure contracts with Council (Principal) on a two (2) year + three (3) months (approximately) contract concluding on 30 June 2025, with the option to extend for a further year. The servicing of each Rest Area / Amenity is to be offered as per the packages – refer to Table 1 in tender documents. •Respondents are invited to tender for one or multiple packages. •Each package will stand independently of other packages. •Council may award the services for one or multiple portions to individual tenderers •Tenderers are required to clearly demonstrate within their submission, details of backup resources to complete the various portions of works should they be successful in being awarded one or multiple portions. The works are for the maintenance and/or mowing and/or cleaning of rest areas including amenity facilities at various locations across the Isaac Region.
