RFT23-0002 Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for the Supply of Construction Materials

Summary and scope

Carpentaria Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations and individuals for appointment as a Pre-Qualified Supplier for the Supply of Construction Materials as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope. The initial term of the appointment shall be 12 months - 2023 Construction Season or as adjusted by the Principal at the Principal’s discretion. Carpentaria Shire is located on the Gulf of Carpentaria approximately 700km west of Cairns and covers an area of approximately 65,000 square kilometres with its administrative and commercial centre located at Normanton. Council has responsibility for maintenance and upgrades to approximately 1,655 kilometres of Council Controlled Road and approximately 610 kilometres of State Controlled Roads. Carpentaria Shire Council (CSC) requires various civil construction materials to be used in the 2023 Construction Season (Approx. April to mid-December 2023) for various projects including DRFA funded reconstruction of gravel roads within Carpentaria shire.
