Summary and scope

Mildura Rural City Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of waste and recycling services with the aim of • providing reliable waste and recycling services to Mildura Rural City Council • introducing service enhancements to contribute to the delivery of the State Government’s Recycling Victoria policy and meet community expectations • developing and supporting a local waste and recycling industry • reducing the overall costs of the Services • improving performance and outcomes for service delivery, customer service, reporting, and the environment • maximising diversion from landfill • increasing local employment generation including for those with barriers to work and social enterprise. ENQUIRIES: All tender enquiries should be directed to the online forum in VendorPanel. NON COMPULSORY TENDER BRIEFING AND SITE INSPECTION: Tuesday 24 January 2023 at Mildura Landfill. SUBMISSIONS: Completed responses can ONLY be submitted electronically by uploading into the VendorPanel System. Respondents will receive a confirmation email response upon completion. Submissions must be fully received by the closing time as late submissions will not be accepted. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. All responses must be made by online submission. Any response made by any other means (open email, facsimile, post or in person) will not be considered.
