Summary and scope
The Council is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) 2223-023 for the Provision of Kerbside Recyclables and Glass Processing Services. Council reserves the right to appoint two contractors - one for the processing of comingled recyclables and a separate contractor for the processing of glass only. The initial term of the new contract arrangement is for five (5) years. Council may at its discretion, extend the operation of the Contract beyond the Initial Contract Term for up to 3 x 1 year options. The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed eight (8) years. It is intended that the new contract arrangement will commence on or around 1 July 2023.
