Summary and scope
The Principal wishes to appoint one or more experienced and qualified Contractor/s, with specialised equipment, for the provision of aquatic weed harvesting Maintenance Services on non-tidal lakes, constructed wetlands and other associated assets at various locations within the City of Gold Coast boundary. The Maintenance Services will be undertaken on an “as-required” basis and may consist of the following: • Aquatic weed control utilising: • Filamentous Algae control • Sediment removal including dredging in small waterbodies and wetlands • Minor earth works associated with the provision of the Maintenance Services. The Contractor must provide all equipment, consumables, materials and labour necessary to provide the scope of Maintenance Services.
