Gladstone Regional Council (GRC) requires a suitably experienced Contractor for upgrades and repairs to the 2.2ML Silverdale Reservoir located at Mingara Crescent in Calliope QLD 4680. This tender is for the construction of the external stairway access to the reservoir and various other rehabilitation measures. The construction works will include: • The construction of a set of aluminium stairs and landings to access the top of the reservoir safely; • Strengthening the existing aluminium columns supporting the reservoir roof with a proprietary system; • Lightning protection; • Replace scour grate and overflow pipeline; • Security measures (for example fencing and locking systems); • Measures to increase the integrity of the reservoir such as wall sealing, concrete and joint repairs; • Replace isolation and control valves; and • Internal pipework.
