Summary and scope
Cloncurry Shire Council invites suitably qualified tenderers to tender for selection as a pre-qualified supplier of mechanical services, auto-electrical services, and tyres services. Council is heavily reliant on vehicles, plant and equipment to deliver its responsibilities as a local government authority including rural road maintenance, town streets maintenance, parks and gardens operations and so forth. Council has traditionally maintained its own fleet, plant and equipment in-house. However, given issues in attracting and retaining quality staff, this has become more difficult. Accordingly, Council now wishes to establish a register of pre-qualified suppliers of MECHANICAL, AUTO-ELECTRICAL AND TYRES and related services who can help Council meet its repair and maintenance requirements for HEAVY PLANT, FLEET, TRAILERS, CARAVANS, PORTABLES, SMALL ENGINES AND MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS AND GENERATORS.
