Summary and scope
Maranoa Regional Council invites applications from contractors wishing to undertake after hours patrols of public spaces with the purpose of securing wandering dogs in the Maranoa Region. The aim is to provide this service across all major townships in the Maranoa – Roma, Mitchell, Injune, Surat, Wallumbilla and Yuleba on a rotational basis. Initially a pilot program is to be conducted with a focus on the townships of Roma and Mitchell being the larger populated centres. Council will support the delivery of this service by the provision of a fit for purpose vehicle, equipment, and basic dog handling training. Patrols are to be undertaken of public spaces/streets in each town area.
