Summary and scope
Over the past decade, the Town has implemented various major event concepts in August. This includes North West Fest, North West Sundowner and the recent 2022 Hedland Food Festival. Based on recent community feedback, the Town has acknowledged a desire for a live music experience and a festival atmosphere that caters for our diverse audience. There is a strong feeling and spirit in the community to bring back live music to Hedland. The Town of Port Hedland requires a suitably qualified event management contractor to deliver two weekends of major live music experiences located at the Civic Gardens in Port Hedland. This includes a Friday DJ after work sundowner event, Saturday major headliner ticketed event and a Sunday free family-friendly live music picnic repeated over two weekends at the end of August.
